How far in advance should I book GlowKiss Events?

We recommend booking as soon as you have your event date secured. For weddings and large-scale events, 6–12 months in advance is ideal. Social and corporate events typically require 2–6 months’ notice. Availability is limited, so early booking is encouraged.


What is required to secure my date?

A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your event date. Dates are not held without both.


Is the retainer refundable?

No. The retainer secures your date and covers planning time, administrative work, and vendor coordination. Once paid, it is non-refundable.


Do you offer customized packages?

Yes. Every event is unique, and we are happy to create a custom package based on your specific needs, guest count, and vision.

Do you work with my vendors or only yours?

We are happy to work with both. We collaborate seamlessly with your chosen vendors and can also recommend trusted, vetted vendors when needed.

Will you be present on the day of the event?

Yes. All coordination and planning packages include on-site event day management to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.


How many planners will be on-site for my event?

Staffing depends on the size and scope of your event. Larger events may require additional team members, which will be discussed and outlined in your proposal.


Do you handle décor and styling?

We provide event styling guidance and coordination. Décor rentals, florals, and specialty installations are handled through vendors, which we help source and manage.

Can you help manage my budget?

Yes. Full-service planning packages include budget guidance and tracking to help you allocate funds wisely while maximizing impact.

Do you offer destination event planning?

Yes. Destination weddings and events are available through our partnership with Glow Luxury Travel, offering seamless coordination between planning and travel.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Maryland and serve the DMV area. Travel services are available for destination and out-of-state events

What is your payment schedule?

After the initial retainer, remaining balances are typically split into scheduled installments, with final payment due before the event date. Details will be outlined in your contract

What happens if my event date changes or is canceled?

All date changes and cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in your contract. Retainers are non-refundable, and rescheduling is subject to availability.

Do you attend rehearsals?

Rehearsal coordination is included in select packages or may be added as an additional service
